Content and Storytelling Producer Location: Derry - Londonderry office Salary: £32,846 pro rata Contract : 3 days per week - 2.5 year fixed term The organisation is the only artistic/cultural organisation of its kind on the island of Ireland, working through storytelling and the language arts to support positive mental health, resilience and cross-community dialogue. A project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). They employ a multi-disciplinary approach, integrating digital technology, literature, psychology, and creativity to break down barriers. The Role This role combines creative content production with storytelling insight, supporting campaigns, programme delivery, and organisational learning. You’ll work across video, audio, photography, design and digital formats and occasionally facilitate workshops or deliver training sessions that empower others to tell their stories too. The role requires a deep connection to their mission fully immersing in their work, understanding the power of storytelling in emotional wellbeing, and building trust with the communities theyengage so that content is rooted in authenticity, dignity and shared purpose. Key Responsibilities Write, edit and produce multimedia content for web, social media, email campaigns, podcasts, printed publications, workshops and internal learning platforms tailoring content to suit each audience and channel. Immerse in their programmes and values-led work to understand the impact of their approach and ensure content reflects the voice, dignity and lived experience of those theysupport. Capture and edit high-quality photography to support storytelling across campaigns, reports, and digital platforms. Shape and lead the storytelling approach across projects from idea generation and scripting through to final production. Film and edit short-form video content for campaigns, events, digital platforms and learning materials. Produce podcasts and audio pieces with strong narrative and accessible production. Design infographics, illustrations and animations that support their messaging and brand. Work collaboratively with programme teams to co-create content with clients, partners and community members. Facilitate storytelling or creative media workshops with service users, staff or external groups when required. Deliver training or demonstrations to internal teams or external partners on content creation, storytelling or platform use. Manage project timelines, content libraries, and archiving of multimedia assets. Stay up to date with ethical storytelling, inclusive design, and digital content trends to strengthen their voice. Skills and Qualifications BA in Digital Media or similar field A strong portfolio demonstrating creative storytelling across formats (video, podcast, photography, design, etc.). Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition) or similar tools. Confident taking content from concept to final delivery including idea development, storyboarding, scripting, filming, editing and post-production while working collaboratively from the earliest stages, sharing ideas, responding to feedback, and co-creating with colleagues and stakeholders. Experience capturing and editing photography for campaigns, publications or digital content, with a strong visual eye Comfortable facilitating creative workshops or delivering training sessions (or willing to learn).
