The Role: Working in the Tech team, you will work alongside multiple teams such as Operations, Merchandising, eCommerce, Finance and CX, as well as 3rd party suppliers, to scope out exciting new projects. You will be responsible for eliciting and documenting requirements, mapping out AS-IS & TO-BE processes, supporting RFPs, feasibility analysis and defining success metrics for benefits realisation. You will be self-motivated and capable of working under limited supervision, building great relationships with stakeholders and pro-actively looking to delivering value quickly and safely. The successful candidate will be detail oriented and willing to challenge assumptions across the business. Responsibilities: Capture and document all project requirements from identified stakeholders, including functional and nonfunctional requirements, using appropriate techniques. Collaborate with stakeholders to document business processes, create prototypes and document metrics / KPIs for success. Facilitate face to face workshops and conduct stakeholder interviews. Define and build out best practices for project inceptions / definitions. Brainstorm alternative routes or solutions to deliver value quickly and safely. Create a learning culture by mentoring stakeholders on tools and processes for capturing requirements. Work closely with Project Managers to escalate and update the project’s direction & scope based on urgency. Develop and implement appropriate business analysis tools and methodologies within the team. Help foster a collaborative, agile and responsive culture. Compile and maintain good quality documentation. Manage senior stakeholders within Oh Polly and 3rd party suppliers Skills and Requirements: Experience working as a Business Analyst on projects involving internal stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers, ideally in a retail environment. Good understanding of data within a retailer. Experience working with Enterprise systems, including PIM, WMS, ERP etc and / or eCommerce projects. Experienced and comfortable working within the full project delivery lifecycle, including feasibility analysis, project initiation, requirement capture, scope and change management, development support, Testing / UAT, hypercare and benefits realisation. Experience of business process mapping and prototyping. Strong commercial acumen and comfortable assessing priority based on perceived value delivery. Passionate about delivering incremental change that delivers true business value. Ability to manage multiple streams of work in a fast-paced environment. Strong influencing skills with an ability to build strong relationships and manage stakeholders effectively. Adaptable, the role requires a willingness to take on tasks outside of a narrowly defined role, whether that be supporting with testing, undertaking investigation analysis or documenting finding. Self-motivated and capable of working with limited supervision. Capable of working to both tactical and strategic timescales, prioritising effectively. Consistently seeks to raise standards through experimentation and the adoption of new tools and processes.
