We are delighted to be acting on behalf of our client which is a global manufacturing company. Our client is seeking an experienced Data Privacy Manager with circa 5 + years experience, to take a lead role on UK / Ireland & international GDPR projects.
Reporting into the Compliance Director, the remit of the role includes:
• Leading on the full suite of GDPR compliance for the company across a number of different international territories.
• Advising key internal stakeholders including IT, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Procurement.
• Resolving privacy incidents.
• Horizon scanning, maintenance & upkeep of the existing GDPR processes, policies & procedures.
• Support on the new product launches and dealing with customer queries.
• Assisting on company audits.
• Handling Data Processing Agreements & DSAR's.
This is a nicely rounded privacy role and the business is seeking a self-starter / someone who wants to have a real impact and influence in their role.
The opportunity is most likely appropriate for someone seeking a true step up in terms of exposure, learning & development. Or, alternatively, someone doing a similar role but seeking a new challenge in an exciting company & sector.
You will have circa 5 years or more privacy experience and strong knowledge of privacy and data protection laws, including in the the EU & EMEA region.
The base salary is up to £75,000, plus wider package.
