NQ Solicitor or Litigation Executive – EL/PL Personal Injury
Hybrid | Manchester (with weekly office presence)

At Simpson Millar, we’re recruiting a Litigation Executive to manage a litigated caseload of Employer’s Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) personal injury claims, plus some CICA files, from initial denial through to settlement or trial.
You’ll join a progressive, Legal 500-recognised team that values your experience and empowers you to deliver meaningful results with flexibility and autonomy.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Manage your own multi-track EL/PL litigated caseload
* Assess liability and disclosure within 21 days of file receipt
* Draft Schedules of Loss, manage disclosure, medicals, and evidence
* Prepare court bundles, witness statements, trial briefs, and liaise with Counsel
* Report to ATE providers and negotiate with Defendant solicitors
* Achieve KPIs for chargeable hours, revenue, inactivity, and data integrity
* Ensure compliance with SRA conduct standards and LPU Litigation Policy
What You Must Bring:
* Proven experience running multi-track litigated personal injury claims (EL/PL essential)
* Solid understanding of Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
* Confidence in assessing liability and progressing claims independently
* Strong negotiation, drafting, and client care skills
* Excellent diary management and legal documentation skills
* A collaborative mindset with attention to detail and compliance
