About the Role
We’re looking for a Cyber GRC Engineer to help shape the future of cyber and AI governance at Salford. This is a unique opportunity to lead on the development of cutting-edge GRC frameworks that span traditional cyber security and emerging AI ethics. You’ll work across departments to embed compliance, manage risk, and ensure the safe, fair, and transparent use of AI technologies.
About you
You’re a detail-driven professional with a passion for cyber security, risk management, and ethical AI. You bring a collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You understand frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST, and you’re excited to apply your knowledge to real-world challenges in a public sector setting. Most importantly, you care about doing the right thingfor people, data, and the future.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments.
