The Role
We are seeking a Case Handler / Family Support Manager to join our growing team. This is a part-time role (20 hours), ideal for a motivated professional with strong organisational and people skills who thrives on making a difference in family outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Acting as the first point of contact for referrals and enquiries
* Screening, logging, and allocating cases to family support workers
* Managing wraparound support packages and liaising with local authorities
* Working closely with commissioners and social workers to ensure care packages are delivered effectively
* Overseeing staff training, compliance, and reflective supervision
* Monitoring the quality of family time observations, parenting support, and assessment reports
* Maintaining accurate case records, safeguarding logs, and outcome trackers
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
* Experience working within children's social care or family support services
* Proven ability to liaise with local authorities and commissioners regarding care packages
* Strong safeguarding knowledge and risk assessment skills
* Organisational ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
* Experience in staff oversight, including training and development
* Good communication skills and confidence in multi-agency settings
* Strong IT and report-writing skills
