About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN.
* Assist with autism, learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, and personal care needs.
* Help deliver and monitor individual learning plans.
* Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support students’ learning and care needs, including administering medication and following care plans.
* Collaborate with teachers, families, and external professionals.
* Adapt support strategies based on student progress.
* Use effective communication to fully engage students in activities.

Requirements:
* A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
* Experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 SEN TA qualification) preferred.
* Strong understanding of SEN and adaptive learning techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Hold a DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
