Role Overview
The controls design engineer will work with an industry-leading refrigeration OEM involved in the overall lifecycle of controls & software development for various refrigeration applications.
Key Responsibilities

Design and code control strategies for Refrigeration applications using Carel, RDM, Danfoss and
Siemens control platforms
· Design user interface for the PLCs, HMIs and remote IoT monitoring systems.
· Test the software using simulators and field units in the R&D lab.
· Configure and maintain local and remote IoT monitoring systems
· Prepare project documentation such as user manuals, parameter sheets and BMS lists
· Provide technical support for site engineers and customers when needed.
· Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, EN, ISO standards and refrigerant regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
·
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Systems, Mechatronics,
or related field.
· Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI design and embedded systems development.
· Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and HVAC principles.
· Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus and BACnet.
Experience:
· –5 years in control systems development, preferably in refrigeration or HVAC.
