This position would suit someone with experience in mechanical fitting or maintenance of CNC milling and grinding machines who is looking for a more customer-facing role.
Full training on internal systems, quotation procedures, and communication techniques will be provided.
The Role As the main point of contact for our customers, you will provide technical guidance and prepare accurate quotations for spare parts, service work, and machine upgrades.
This is a desk-based role focused on managing enquiries and supporting international customers with technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Respond to technical enquiries and provide support on troubleshooting machine faults, applying a solid understanding of Holroyd machines and their applications.
Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for spares, services, and upgrades.
Lead and support a team of field service engineers, offering technical guidance when needed.
Manage the service schedule and coordinate with customers and internal team for travel arrangements.
Work closely with engineering, software and production teams on complex technical issues.
Maintain strong customer relationships by responding promptly to enquiries and providing effective technical support.
Person Specification: Apprentice trained and time-served in a mechanical discipline.
Experienced in the build and application of CNC Milling & Grinding machines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to discuss technical matters confidently.
Understanding of MRP systems (advantageous). xjlbheb
Previous enquiry or sales support experience.
