Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong kitchen experience, excellent food preparation skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
* Assist in food production, ensuring consistency and quality in every meal prepared
* Supervise junior kitchen staff and coordinate team activities during shifts
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations
* Manage food inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies
* Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining organisation in the kitchen
* Support the team with food presentation and garnishing to enhance visual appeal
* Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth service operations
* Uphold cleanliness and organisation of all kitchen areas, including equipment and workstations
Experience
* Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
* Demonstrable supervising or team management experience in a culinary context
* Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
* Previous experience in restaurant service or serving roles is advantageous but not essential
* Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively
