Robert Half are delighted to be supporting a successful firm in Clifton on the recruitment of a full time and permanent Credit Controller to join the team.
Due to internal promotion, this exciting position has become available and is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a friendly and supportive company, making a huge impact on the day to day running of the function.
Our client's office is easily accessible from Clifton Down train station, and they adopt a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office per week.
Responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include but not be limited to:
* Manage daily banking activity, ensuring all incoming payments are accurately allocated and discrepancies resolved.
* Take proactive ownership of debt management, including chasing overdue balances and producing regular arrears reports.
* Provide strong customer support by handling payment queries, maintaining accurate account details, and managing payment plans.
* Escalate non-payment cases appropriately and coordinate recovery actions with relevant third parties.
* Maintain clear audit trails and support the wider finance function with general administrative and accounting tasks.
Your Profile:
* Previous experience working in a similar credit control or transactional finance position.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Strong IT skills, and high attention to detail and accuracy.
* Experience working in or with the property industry is highly advantageous.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £28-30k plus benefits including 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), life assurance, generous pension scheme, and a sociable culture including regular team/company wide events.
