Assistant Site Manager – Solar Farm Project
A leading renewable service provider is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a 40MW solar farm project local to Kidderminster, West Midlands. Working 10‑hour days, you will assist the Site Manager in overseeing daily construction activities, supervising civil, mechanical and electrical subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered on programme. The role is a 12‑month contract, likely to run for 15‑18 months, operating outside IR35. Saturday working hours are 8 am‑1 pm, with workers paid for a full day.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Site Manager in daily construction activities, supervising civil, mechanical and electrical subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered on programme.
* Support Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements on site.
* Coordinate plant and materials on site.
* Maintain accurate site documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous supervisory or assistant site management experience in construction.
* Solar farm experience desired; strong civil, electrical or building background considered.
