Abbatt Property Recruitment is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our fast-paced temporary recruitment desk, specialising in placing professionals into residential property management roles across London. About Us Abbatt Property Recruitment is a well-established specialist recruiter serving London's residential property sector. We place temporary and permanent staff into roles including Estate Managers, Building Managers, Concierge, Receptionists, and Security Guards across some of London's most prestigious residential developments. Our temps desk is thriving - we're busy, the market is strong, and our clients rely on us to deliver quality candidates at short notice. We need someone who can keep up with the pace and enjoy every minute of it. The Role This is a true temps recruitment role - fast-paced, relationship-driven, and all about getting the right people into the right shifts, quickly. Your Day-to-Day: Client Management Take incoming booking requests from property management clients (often at short notice) Build and maintain strong relationships with clients - become their go-to person Understand client requirements, confirm shift details, rates, and expectations Provide excellent customer service and responsive communication Candidate Coordination Match available candidates to shifts based on skills, location, and availability Confirm bookings with candidates - rates, shift times, locations, dress code, etc. Keep candidates engaged, happy, and available for future bookings Manage last-minute changes, cancellations, or no-shows with professionalism Administration & Systems (10%) Enter bookings accurately onto our recruitment system Track timesheets and work with payroll to ensure smooth processing Keep candidate and client records current Occasional Candidate Sourcing When required, you may support the team with sourcing new candidates through job boards, referrals, and database searching—but this isn't the primary focus of the role. What We're Looking For Essential: Proven experience in temporary/interim recruitment Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced temps desk environment Highly organised with excellent attention to detail - you won't drop the ball Strong communication skills - friendly, professional, and calm under pressure Ability to handle last-minute bookings and changes without stress Customer service mindset - helpful, responsive, and solution-focused Confident using recruitment databases/ATS systems Ability to multitask - juggling multiple bookings, calls, and clients simultaneously Team player who thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment Desirable: Experience in property, facilities management, or hospitality recruitment (not essential—we can teach you the sector) Knowledge of London geography (helps with matching candidates to locations) Resilience and positive attitude Why You'll Love This Role Busy desk, thriving market – You'll never be bored Earn well – Competitive base salary uncapped commission on bookings.
