Job Title: Surgical Wards Registered Veterinary Nurse

Location: Willows Referrals

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 38 hours/week. Shifts from 7am -3pm, 9:30-5:30, 11-7pm, 1pm-9pm

1:6 weekends

Salary: From £28,000 per year, depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our Surgical Wards nursing team.

This is an ideal chance for keen individuals to work in one of the UK’s leading referral centres and develop their nursing skills. Experience of working in a referral environment is not required as full support and training will be provided for the successful candidates. The successful candidate will be working alongside our team of Registered Nurses, Surgical Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Care Assistants to deliver gold standard veterinary care to our patients.

Main duties will include:


* Inpatient care

* Working alongside our Veterinary Physiotherapist

In-patient care is a priority and includes 24-hour veterinary and nursing cover, with support from a team of emergency vets and Interns. Our hospital facilities are of the highest quality, including on-site Siemens 64-slice CT, Siemens 1.5T MRI, two in-theatre mobile image intensifiers, two digital radiography rooms, ultrasonography, electro diagnostics, video endoscopy and an extensive range of advanced surgical equipment.
