Our client well established business based in Maldon going through a period of transformation. They are looking to recruit an Interim Accounts Assistant to help support the day-to-day activities of the business to aid the transition.
Responsibilities:
As an Interim Accounts Assistant you will...
1. Process and accurately input supplier invoices onto the finance system, ensuring correct coding and supporting documentation to maintain an organised and up-to-date purchase ledger.
2. Assist with regular payment runs, preparing payment schedules, reconciling supplier balances, and ensuring invoices are processed in line with internal approval procedures.
3. Maintain organised financial records through effective filing and document management, ensuring invoices and related paperwork are stored accurately and easily retrievable.
4. Provide general administrative support to the finance function, including answering incoming calls, responding to queries, and assisting colleagues with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
5. Support the wider team with routine finance and office administration to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations and timely completion of month-end processes.
Requirements:
As an Interim Accounts Assistant you will need...
6. Degree in Accountancy and Finance or similar
7. AAT Study
8. 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role
