Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Aftermarket Safety Specialist to join a leading organisation in Warwick. This role is responsible for upholding the highest standards of workplace safety, ensuring compliance, and embedding a strong culture of risk awareness and employee well-being across the Aftermarket network.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Aftermarket Safety Specialist will work closely with managers, technicians, and field service engineers to implement safe systems of work, update and communicate SOPs, and drive continuous improvement in health and safety practices.
Responsibilities
* Liaising with local site managers, the H&S Compliance Manager, and the UK Health & Safety Manager regarding safety priorities and development.
* Supporting the H&S team in improving risk assessment formats and systems.
* Delivering safety briefings to HGV Technicians and Field Service Engineers.
* Writing, updating, and communicating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Proactively improving safety across the Aftermarket network.
* Collaborating with SCMs to implement improvement measures and initiatives post-audits.
* Ensuring plant and equipment are in safe condition and used appropriately.
* Identifying hazards and determining risk reduction measures.
* Advising on safety procedures, access requirements, and best practice.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant quality and environmental procedures, records, and documentation associated with the role.
Candidate Criteria
Knowledge
* Previous experience in a relevant role
* RCV operational knowledge
* Awareness of ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001
* Experience writing/editing reports and recording data
* Engineering background or understanding
* Knowledge of SOPs
Skills & Abilities
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* Strong problem-solving techniques and logical thinking
* High attention to detail
* IT literate (Excel & Word) with good administration skills
Other Requirements
* Ability to climb in/out/over/around vehicles
* Willingness to work overtime when required
* Ability and willingness to travel throughout the UK
