You’ll build trusting relationships, provide practical and emotional guidance, and help young people develop the skills they need to thrive—whether that’s managing a tenancy, accessing education or employment, or navigating life’s challenges. You will be instrumental in delivering a first-class service which will deliver the best outcomes for the children and young people of Gloucestershire. About the role/ team Our teams work with care leavers, their families, other staff within the service, partner agencies and private industry to provide advice and support to care leavers aged 16 – 25 years old. As a Senior Leaving Care Personal Advisers, you will manage a caseload with a high level of complexity and risk including those care leavers who are, homeless, in custody, young parents or UASC. You will act in a consultative capacity to new and less experienced Personal Advisers, mentoring them and having an active role in their induction and probationary period Under the terms of our Safer Recruitment Policy, if you are invited to interview, we will take up safeguarding references prior to your interview to understand your suitability to work with vulnerable children.
