Responsibilities
* Maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic kitchen and associated areas, including floors within and leading into the kitchen.
* Ensure all service wear and cooking items are thoroughly washed, cleaned and dried and returned to designated storage areas.
* Ensure all chemicals and cleaning products are used as directed by the manufacturer and in accordance with the training given.
* Maintain records for all cleaning duties undertaken during the shift.
* Use and maintain equipment in the department as trained and report any faults to the Duty Chef immediately.
* Ensure all Personal Protective Equipment is used as specified by COSHH guidelines.
* Carry out any other reasonable task as requested by a member of the management team.
* Comply with company procedures and legal requirements including Health, Safety and Hygiene standards.
* Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with departmental working instructions.
