Compensation & Benefits
Location: Blantyre
Salary: £27k – £30k per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the Calibration function of all test and measurement equipment across 250 mobile engineering personnel and wide variety of key static sites.
* Managing the electronic calibration library to ensure it remains up to date and accurate.
* Ordering of specialist tools and equipment from key supply chain partners to support new engineering personnel or where tools and equipment are retired at the end of respective working lives.
* Day-to-day management of the physical stock of all tools and equipment.
* Dispatching and receiving tools and equipment in an expedient manner.
* First point of contact with goods, materials, equipment or other products that are delivered to ECG’s Blantyre Head office, incoming inspection of such deliveries and ensuring recipients take delivery of such.
* Management of the temporary storage of such plant, equipment, tools etc.
* Management of all deliveries of specialist Water Hygiene and Water Treatment Chemicals, stock control, stock rotation and stock ordering from specialist suppliers.
Required Qualifications
* Relevant experience in a stock control and/or engineering environment would be advantageous but not essential.
* Highly numerate, good organisational skills, must be able to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
* Physically fit, the role requires the physical movement of some larger pieces of test, measurement and access equipment on a day-to-day basis.
* Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and IT.
* Good team member, the ability to interact confidently with a wide range of business colleagues.
* Excellent IT skills, MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams.
* Exposure to Purchasing systems would be an advantage.
