An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced candidate to join the IT department at Norwich City Football Club in the role of IT Infrastructure Engineer. Our IT infrastructure is vital in supporting the club’s day-to-day operations, and we are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced sporting environment, ensuring the club’s IT functions remain secure, efficient, and operating at peak performance. Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Management and maintenance of the club’s servers, networking, security, storage, and cloud services, working with a broad range of technologies Maintaining and developing the club’s networking infrastructure Highly organised problem-solver with a methodical approach to troubleshooting IT issues Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable demeanour are essential, as you will collaborate across departments, build relationships, and provide support where needed The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage workflows efficiently will be crucial in this role. Flexibility is essential to meet the operational demands of the club as you will be required to work home matchdays and out of hours maintenance windows.
