CGI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid/ Proposals Manager to join an ever-growing team on a full-time permanent basis.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Qualify opportunities to develop new business with existing or new clients
• Actively participate in and influence sales campaigns
• Track and report bid progress, being responsible for the pre-sales process and bid quality
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Essential:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – written & spoken
• Demonstrable commitment to quality and attention to detail
• A winning mind-set, self-starter and demonstrated ability to learn quickly
• Ability & experience in independent working
• Demonstrates good commercial acumen and business awareness
• 2+ years experience of software development either in a technical or project management role
Desirable:
• Previous experience of bid management/coordination within the software industry
• Experience within the satellite industry or space domain
• Previous experience of working with the European Space Agency (ESA) and/or institutional clients
