The Governing Body seeks to appoint three enthusiastic, caring and committed person(s) to join our team of lunchtime supervisors. The successful candidates will have experience of working with and safeguarding children of primary school age and be able to work as part of a team. Duties include; - Providing constant superviosn and management of pupils to ensure safety and well-being during lunchtimes in school and on the playground - Positively engage with and support pupils to ensure lunchtimes are safe and enjoyable, encouraging and developing play. - maintaining the general cleanliness of the lunch area, - Is kind, understanding and caring towards out pupils - Deal with First Aid incidents - communicating effectively with pupils - maintaining good behaviour according to the school’s behaviour policy. - be flexible to change to meet the needs of the school This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
