Marlowe Fire & Security’s Project Engineer’s
Take the lead in technically engineering, installing, and managing a diverse range of projects—both large and small—across the Marlowe portfolio. As a Project Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in planning and delivering projects and commissioning works, all while working closely with key clients to meet critical deadlines. Your focus will be on ensuring each project runs smoothly and profitably, with an unwavering commitment to health, safety, and quality in line with company standards.
1. Ensure project delivery aligns with the agreed programme timeline, proactively escalating any delays to the Project Manager.
2. Conduct technical reviews and process project orders through the Sales Order Processing system, forwarding requirements to the Purchasing Department.
3. Safeguard Marlowe’s commercial interests by maintaining clear and professional correspondence with customers regarding project delays and arising issues.
4. Plan, coordinate, and manage labour and material resources to ensure successful project delivery.
5. Allocate all necessary Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and engineering documentation to site teams, and verify that commissioning is completed in accordance with British Standards upon project completion.
6. Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams as required throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Attend site meetings and liaise with designers and customers to manage and implement design variations.
8. Manage assigned engineers and subcontractors, including oversight of timesheets, holiday schedules, and overall performance.
9. Monitor and report on the profitability of assigned projects, ensuring financial targets are met and reporting key metrics to the Project Manager.
10. Oversee on-site health and safety compliance, conducting regular audits and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
11. Ensure strict compliance with Marlowe’s Quality Management Systems, Processes, and Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards.

12. Over 5 years of experience in the fire and security industry, with a focus on engineering projects across single and multi-site locations
13. Highly motivated and enthusiastic professional who thrives in challenging, fast-paced environments
14. Strong communication skills paired with in-depth technical knowledge of major systems and complex projects
15. Proven technical expertise combined with excellent interpersonal skills to drive collaboration and project success
16. Track record of delivering results through effective problem-solving and a solution-focused mindset
17. Willing and flexible to travel across the UK as needed to ensure timely project completion, while strictly adhering to all Marlowe health and safety standards
18. Capable of working effectively under pressure, whether independently or as part of a collaborative team
