Job Vacancy: Supply Chain Coordinator

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Are you a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for operational excellence? We’re looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dynamic team and play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of our projects through effective supply chain and contractor management.
About the Role
As Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our supply chain processes. Your responsibilities include onboarding and allocating contractors, collaborating with Project and Transport Managers, and ensuring project timelines are met and labour resources are aligned with project needs. This is an office-based role in a fast-paced environment, offering opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily Operations: Manage supply chain activities and inventory requirements. Ensure timely procurement of materials when sold with contractor packages.
* Contractor Management: Allocate workloads daily and onboard new contractors. Ensure contractor compliance with company policies and legal standards.
* Project Coordination: Liaise with Project Managers to assess and fulfill labour requirements. Align supply chain operations with project timelines.
* Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams. Coordinate with the Transport Manager on logistics planning.
* Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance. Keep tracking systems and documents up to date.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify efficiency opportunities and implement process enhancements. Monitor key performance indicators.
* Business Support & Flexibility: Support other departments during busy periods. Provide transport allocation coverage during holidays and peak trading. Learn transport systems to provide seamless support when required.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in supply chain management or project management
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Familiarity with supply chain software/tools
* A collaborative approach and willingness to support wider business needs
Preferred:
* Experience in contractor onboarding and workforce management
* Understanding of project management principles
