ADHD Service Manager (Maternity cover July 26 for 12 months)

The Service Managerwill be a key member of the Quay Healthcare ADHD Team, accountable to the ChiefOperating Officer (COO).

TheService Manager will assist in the day to day management of the ADHD serviceand provide operational management support in all aspects of the service.


Main duties of the job

The postholder will:

Have responsibility for supporting partnershipwork and will support the local development and day-to-day delivery of the ADHDservice.

Be central to ensuring robust arrangements forengaging with all key stakeholders, together with a patient-centred approach toservice planning and development and appropriate engagement mechanisms with thepublic.

Provide leadership and support to the clinicalteam to bring new ideas to help them improve and further developexisting services in line with their service specifications and keydeliverables.

Workcollectively with a Clinical and Non-Clinical multi-disciplinary team.

Quay Primary Healthcare CIC are a primary care support organisation for four of the GP PCNs within Warrington. Our mission is to deliver better clinical outcomes and accessible treatment for the people of Warrington.

We provide a large number of ARRs staff to the GP Practices, including paramedics, FCPs, clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. We have a strong working relationship with the Clinical Directors and PCN Management team to support their needs. We are committed to training and development of our staff on a personal professional and organisational level.

We are also provide a growing and progressive Adult ADHD Service based entirely within primary care. We are a remote service who serves the Warrington population and various other area's across the country.


Job responsibilities

Management and Leadership Responsibilities

To support the Quay Healthcare StrategicManagement Team by ensuring that service development and delivery is proactiveand maintains up to date knowledge of national plans, policies and strategies.

To support the governance arrangements within the ADHD service including audit, complaints, incidents, risk and health &safety.

To ensure compliance with CQC regulations and tosupport the ADHD Clinical Lead to work towards an OUTSTANDING inspectionrating.

Ensuring that facilities for service deliveryare suitable and appropriate.

To work withcolleagues to ensure retention of services and contract extensions.

To update Quaymanagement teams with clinical and operational updates, and developments of theservice.

To support with internalaudits, including clinical audits, staff appraisals, and organisational needs, tomaintain standards to CQC level and above.

To maintain,improve and further develop relationships with general practices and ensure theyunderstand Quay Healthcares service.

To maintain anddevelop positive working relationships with both operational and clinical staffmembers, contributing to their experience of good communication, personaldevelopment, and learning opportunities are available within the service.

To work closelywith the admin supervisor, ensuring the day-to-day running of office functionsare efficient, supporting the team to work within service and Quayexpectations.

Attend and participate in internal meetings tosupport the journey of patients through the service.

Analytical and Judgement Skills

Work with the team to interpret statistical datain order to inform service delivery and support the development of optionappraisals where appropriate.

To be able to interpret and filter informationfrom a range of sources to support the production of service plans andstrategies, business case production and other service development initiatives.

To support the evaluation of service provisionusing information sourced internally/external.

To be skilled in IT and digital systems,providing training, support, and contributing to the implementation of newdevelopments as necessary.

Policy and Service Development

To support the development of service planswhich are informed by analysis of activity, performance information andevidence of good practice.

Support the ADHD Clinical Lead in theimplementation and development of a range of policies for Quay Healthcare.

To support the development, implementation andmonitoring of service frameworks.

To support the formulation of the ADHD servicebusiness plans for Quay Healthcare involving partners where necessary,including liaising with and working alongside agency partners to ensureadequate staffing and recruitment as services develop.

To engage in the review of plans, the support ofstaff, and contribute to the proposal of adjustments or changes in response tonational policy guidance and/or updates.

To undertake key tasks in the preparation,implementation and monitoring of patient and public involvement.

Participate in the development of new ways ofworking within the ADHD service, including the production of associateddocumentation such as guidance and policies.

To support the achievement of contractual KPIsand for reporting monthly to the Commissioner.
