The Role As activities co-ordinator you will look to create, plan and organise an interesting and varied program of daily activities, entertainment and events, promoting the wellbeing of the residents. Duties may include the following: Liaise with external companies to organise entertainment Listening to the residents though conversation and questionnaires to aid producing a popular program of events/activities/entertainment Develop a rapport with local community churches, schools, gyms ect. Applicant will need to pre plan and risk assess activities before they take place. About you: We are looking for a cheerful, outgoing, passionate individual with a creative flair. The ideal person will be organised and have some experience working with in the care sector, therefore being able to understand the needs of residents aiding activity choices.
