Procurement Officer
6‑Month Temporary Assignment
Location: North Nottinghamshire (commutable from Kirkby‑in‑Ashfield, Rainworth, Annesley and Hucknall)
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 (DOE)
Duration: Temporary – 6 months
SF Partners are currently partnering with a well‑established client in North Nottinghamshire to recruit an experienced procurement professional for an initial 6‑month temporary assignment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is immediately available and enjoys working in a fast‑paced procurement environment, supporting day‑to‑day purchasing activity and supplier management projects.
The successful candidate will support the wider procurement function with a range of operational and administrative procurement duties, including:
* Raising and processing purchase orders
* Supporting supplier onboarding activity
* Assisting with a supplier rationalisation project
* Managing procurement administration and maintaining accurate records
* Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Ensuring procurement processes and compliance procedures are followed
We are looking for someone who:
* Has previous experience within procurement, purchasing, or supply chain administration
* Is confident raising POs and managing supplier communications
* Has strong organisational and administrative skills
* Is comfortable working across multiple tasks and priorities
* Can start immediately or at short notice
* Has good systems knowledge, including Excel and ERP systems
