Senior Construction manager opportunity working for a tier one main contractor on a new build commercial scheme in West London worth circa £50million.
This is the ideal role for a senior construction manager that loves to lead the construction on site, can get stuck in and drive a new build project but also who is an aspiring Project Manager.
Senior Construction Manager responsibilities
* This senior construction manager will be responsible for leading the Site, managing site managers, ensuring the project is on programme and budget and report upstream to the Project Managers.
* Manage the project phase plans, manage health, safety and quality on site.
* Look at the design and carry out meetings with commercial and design team.
* Report to the Project manager and manage Site managers.
The ideal Senior construction manager
* Looking for a senior construction manager who considers themselves to be a builder, boots on the ground and able to deliver.
* New build construction experience, preferably steel frame commercial builds, working for a main contractor.
* Looking for someone who is driven, ambitious and has a can do attitude.
* Needs to come from a construction background and knows how to build.
* The ideal senior construction manager will be good with ASTA, good with design, phasing, programmes and can push the job.
