Trading since 1989, Chartered Surveyors is the UK's number one residential surveyor and the largest provider of property risk expertise and residential surveying services. To put it into numbers, we complete more than one property inspection every 12 seconds and employ over 600 surveyors from Land’s End to John O’Groats and Northern Ireland. This gives us the flexibility to offer nationwide coverage combined with invaluable local knowledge.
We're part of the LSL Property Services Group PLC which includes household names Your Move and Reeds Rains as well as the mortgage network PRIMIS. We work with lenders, intermediaries, social housing entities and estate agents in addition to private customers.
We are currently recruiting for a Operational Change Lead (BAU).
Role Purposes
To lead the effective scoping, design and implementation of operational change across all functions, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities, strong stakeholder engagement, comprehensive training, and robust control frameworks that drive sustainable continuous improvement.
Role Duties
1. Support continuous improvement methodology across the operations functions.
2. Facilitate routine change across operational functions, ensuring all changes are planned, implemented and effectively embedded.
3. Evaluate needs against available technologies to provide informed recommendations on best practice solutions.
4. Prioritise and manage identified needs, collaborating with colleagues to design and deliver solutions within agreed required time frames.
5. Drive effective stakeholder engagement at all levels.
6. Ensure all process are documented, consistently understood, and aligned to standards.
7. Monitor and evaluate the impact of change to ensure intended outcomes are achieved.
8. Identify and assess potential risk from change and implement appropriate mitigation solutions.
9. Provide guidance and support to operational leads throughout the change lifecycle.
10. Ensure all team tasks are performed to the necessary standards in order to align to quality standards and ensure data confidentiality, integrity and availability
11. Ensure own H&S, and that of colleagues by complying with both legal and policy requirements.
Knowledge and Experience
12. Excellent knowledge of business processes and impacts upon operational functions.
13. The ability to align change initiatives with broader business objectives.
14. Understanding of KPI’s to track and adjust strategies as needed.
15. Strong analytical and process mapping capability.
16. Ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
