FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER – FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
Croydon – Flexible hybrid (typically 3 days office / 2 home) – Permanent – Supporting contract performance across a multi-site portfolio

We’re hiring for a growing facilities management business delivering services across a portfolio of contracts. This role sits at the centre of finance and operations, with real ownership of reporting, client insight, and commercial support.
It’s a grown-up, flexible environment—there’s an expectation of being in the office to stay connected, but no rigid rules, and some weeks you won’t need to come in at all.
Requirements
* Experience in management accounts or finance business partnering, ideally within a multi-site or contract-led environment
* Comfortable handling high-volume reporting, reconciliations, invoicing, and budgeting
* A practical mindset with the confidence to improve processes and support non-finance team
Responsibilities
* Own client-facing financial reporting across a portfolio of cost centres
* Produce and review monthly management accounts with clear, commercially useful insight
* Manage balance sheet reconciliations across cash, card receipts, and client systems
* Lead monthly reviews with operational teams, explaining performance and resolving variances
* Support the preparation and issue of client invoices, aligned to reported figures
* Improve the month-end process through better structure, discipline, and automation
* Partner with operations to understand contract performance and challenge unusual movements
* Support annual budgeting across contracts, including labour and cost pressures
* Prepare updated contract budgets and financial packs for client review
* Track contract changes and ensure financial impacts are reflected accurately
* Contribute to forecasting, reporting improvements, and commercial decision support
* Support finance projects, particularly around systems and process efficiency
Qualifications
* Good working knowledge of MS Excel
* Confident working with large data sets, reconciliations, and reporting packs
* Able to build strong relationships with operational teams and clients
* Experience in a management accounting or business partnering role
