Job Overview
We are a fast‑paced busy unit with two Cardiac Cath Labs and a day ward with 7 beds recovery area. As a band 6 Sister/Charge nurse, you will be supported to advance your skills, gain expertise in interventional cardiology, and manage a busy Angiosuite department. The Angiosuite and Cardiac Cath Lab is a specialist area within the Cardiology Department, working closely with cardiology elective services and is collaboratively linked with our cardiology inpatient services, providing possibilities for rotation and flexible working across the Cath lab, Angio Suite Day Ward and Cardiology inpatient wards Meadvale and CCU. This enhances opportunities for skill and competency development, advancing your management experience and knowledge within Cardiology.
We currently provide Monday to Friday service from 8 am to 6 pm. Unit shift patterns exclude night, weekend, and bank holiday working, although patterns may change as service requirements evolve.
