Our client is an established, international food related (FMCG) manufacturer based in the Thetford area.
The company has 8 manufacturing operations in the UK and Europe and is one of the leading manufacturers in it's field with an annual turnover or GBP40 million, employing a loyal, dedicated and motivated team of around 80 staff.
An Engineering Stores Co-ordinator is required to join the loyal and dedicated Engineering team of 9.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will provide engineering support and accurate consumables/parts stock control/planning having key relationships with engineering team, QA & Hygiene, procurement and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Placing orders
* Maintaining stores and stock records
* Maintain all records of Spares Quotations, bench marking
* Placing engineering orders onto the Pragma system
* Maintain engineering stock levels
* Maintain hygiene chemical and consumables stock
* Enter manual work sheets on the CMMS System and issue as required.
* Liaising with 3rd party contractors as required
* Maintain COSHH register & assessments
* Support the site roll out of SUSA Program
* Help drive the hazard reporting program, and drive / maintain close out of identified hazards
* Take an active part in the health & safety committee
We are looking for candidates who are technically minded who have a successful 'track record' within a stores position.

Salary to suit experience GBP30'000 to GBP34'000, Contributory Pension scheme, 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
