Structural Technician
Location: Buckhurst Hill, Essex
Salary: Up to £32,000 + Benefits
Aztrum is working with a well-established structural engineering consultancy based in Buckhurst Hill, delivering a wide range of projects across the residential and commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Structural Technician with a minimum of 2 years’ industry experience.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Engineers on varied building structures while developing technical and BIM capability.
Key Responsibilities – Structural Technician
* Produce structural drawings and details for residential and commercial projects
* Work with Engineers to develop coordinated technical solutions
* Prepare drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit
* Assist with technical detailing for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures
* Ensure drawings comply with design standards and regulations
Requirements – Structural Technician
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a structural engineering environment
* Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience beneficial)
* Understanding of structural detailing and construction methods
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
