IT Support Technician
Our client is urgently looking for an IT Support Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client is happy to consider both newcomers to IT, as well as experienced candidates.
Please note, the role is on-site 5 days per week in London. Remote working will be permitted on an ad-hoc basis.

* CreateServiceNowrequestsforrequeststakenbyphone,email,textorinperson
* Makecertainthatallticketsareacknowledgedandrespondedtoinareasonableamountoftime,eveniftheyarenotpossibletoresolveonfirstcontact
* Provideregularupdatestotherequestorontheirticketsregardlessofprogressmade
* Ensurethatticketshaveappropriatecategoriesassigned,correctstatusisapplied,andpriorityisclear
* Maintainanaccurateaudittrailontheticket
* Escalateissuesthatarenotpossibletoresolveduetoknowledgeoraccessto2ndlinesupport,oriftheguidancestatesescalatetotheappropriateteamsuchasITInfrastructureorITApplications&Development,orexternalsuppliersupport
* Preparedesksetupfornewjoiners,andclearingequipmentfromleavers
* Assistwiththemaintenanceofinventory,includingtonerandinkforprinters
* KeepITstockorganisedsothatthelocalteamknowitsstatus(available,pendingassignment,pendingrepair)
* WeekendoncallcoveriscoveredonarotationalbasisbyallITSupportteammembers
