Key Responsibilities of the Buyer
* Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and conditions
* Manage the procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring seamless operations
* Analyse market trends and make informed purchasing decisions to maximise value
* Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement strategies with business objectives
* Continuously explore new sourcing opportunities to enhance the Buyer's portfolio
To excel in this Buyer role, you will need:
* Demonstrated experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement position
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Proficiency in data analysis and inventory management
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Please note due to the nature of this role you will be required to travel both UK and some European travel.
