If you have an interest in women's health, are flexible and self‑motivated, we would like to hear from you. A Band 3 healthcare assistant post has become available in our busy diagnostic suite and out‑patient departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist doctors with diagnostic procedures and support the efficient running of clinics.
* Help run specialised clinics, including 2‑week‑wait hysteroscopy, vulval and pelvic mass, colposcopy, general gynaecology, urogynaecology and endometriosis clinics.
* Maintain a clean and tidy patient environment, manage auditing and restocking of supplies.
* Support pre‑operative assessment nurses with patient assessments for hysteroscopy under anaesthetic.
* Prioritise and contribute to the delivery of high standards of care to patients, families and carers in a safe and supportive environment.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of services and contribute to the safe, efficient and smooth running of the ward/clinical area/department.
Qualifications
* Venepuncture competency.
* Care Certificate.
* Good command of the English language.
* Evidence of ongoing development.
* Experience of working with patients with complex medical and social history.
* EPR proficiency.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience with complex patient histories or additional clinical skills.
