Job Title

Parts Trade Sales Manager


The Role

The main purpose of a Vospers Trade Sales Manager is to manage and grow sales volumes and profit through all aspects of external sales to trade customers.


Key Responsibilities

* Motivate staff through providing good coaching and give regular feedback on their performance, conducting appraisals, ensuring identification of training and support requirements, together with the setting of realistic and attainable objectives.
* Agree tasks and work standards with the Trade Parts team, maintaining standards of performance and conduct, and reporting and discussing any lapses with the Group Parts Operations Manager.
* Recommend both internal and external training for team members to help them progress, develop and perform to the highest possible standard, and be available to your team to discuss problems and queries.
* Build a customer‑led performance environment through successful two‑way communication, and hold regular meetings to discuss and evaluate team performance and progression.
* Produce a consistently high level of Customer satisfaction, listen and evaluate customer needs and feedback, ensuring all enquiries are met by your team promptly and courteously.
* Promote and explain the expected standards of customer satisfaction to ensure the department excels in customer service, ensuring sufficient staff cover is available to meet customer needs.
* Be familiar with all the Administration systems so you can provide support and help where needed including ensuring iTrent systems and Performance Hub are regularly updated with reviews, sickness absence, authorising holiday etc.
* Management of all Dealer Management Systems relevant to the Trade Parts operation.
* Communicate important results to the team to ensure that staff are kept up to date with business objectives, departmental progress and areas to improve, setting expectations to achieve sales and profit targets within the allocated budget.
* Work with Aftersales Marketing team to formulate promotional activities that will benefit external trade sales.
* Increase awareness of Vospers brands within the current AOI and liaise with BDE weekly on current offers and task BDE with targets.

Salary

Dependent on experience and qualifications, to be discussed at interview.
