You will be responsible for organizing and coordinating your team so that all bike and Parts & Accessories (P&A) orders are dispatched in full and on time. You will be a principal figure in your customers’ service experience, handling enquiries and managing orders as well as improving and having input into making our current processes more efficient. The role will be varied and challenging, with a focus on continuous improvement in all areas. Main duties Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operation. Daily leadership of team including performance and leave management. Ensure team is fully (cross) trained. Report on KPIs and identify areas for improvement. Oversee safe loading and unloading of vehicles, avoiding harm to persons, or damage to stock or equipment. Responsible for ensuring that all received bike and P&A boxes are always scanned upon receipt and put-away in a safe and suitable location. Ensure all orders are processed efficiently & accurately and delivered on time. Optimise pallet storage in warehouse to maximise space utilisation. Carry out a stock count at the end of each month, do a root cause analysis on stock count deviations and assist the Accounts team with stock data when required. Ensure that potential issues are escalated timely to Logistics Capacity Manager. Manage and meet Health & Safety (HS&E) requirements - ensure daily/weekly checklists are completed on time and any issues dealt with in a timely manner. Make HS&E culturally pervasive in the approach to doing work and how teams interact in cross-over activities. Maintain clear communication between Logistics Office team and Dispatch team. Additional duties: To attend training and meetings as and when required. Any other jobs around the factory that may be deemed necessary and considered an integral part of the role. Person Specification: Counterbalance and Reach truck licenses. Previous experience of managing a team. Be aware of Health and Safety standards and the responsibility to ensure that these HS&E standards are always met. Previous warehouse experience. Experience with ERP is preferred. Keen attention to detail. Excel (minimum level 2) and Word (basic level) preferred. Excellent communication skills with all internal and external stakeholders. Experience working with KPIs and Continuous Improvement with an attitude geared toward continuous improvement and productivity. Be able to work unsupervised with good time management and achieve agreed targets. The ability to problem-solve and provide solutions. ‘A can do’ attitude with a hands-on approach. Methodical.
