Overview
Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs required in Lincolnshire. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support. We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN / SEND, as well as SEMH needs. We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD and SLD. We are looking for SEN / SEND tutors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Lincolnshire. At Targeted Provision our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. We keep the team around the child, and you will be supported throughout every placement by our team of SEN / SEND Support Specialists. This role is ideal for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who prefer 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner to raise engagement and improve their educational journey.

The SEN / SEND Tutor role
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted Provision
* These young people are referred by local authorities and schools and may require support in their educational and social-emotional journey
* Deliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Tasks and responsibilities
* Plan each tutoring/mentoring session to meet individual needs
* Provide holistic, engaging sessions that advance educational and social-emotional development
* Complete lesson reports and provide progress feedback
Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (cost-supported if needed)
* Two professional references
* Based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, including for remote/online assignments
It is a strict requirement to promote the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people and to follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
Employment status
* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term engagements as they arise
* Contract-for-service and PAYE payment
* No guaranteed hours or expenses coverage
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us
* This is not a self-employed tutoring/teaching position
