We’re looking for a commercially minded Business Development Consultant to work alongside our Field Sales Consultants and help unlock growth in high-potential territories.
This role is about identifying opportunity, opening doors, and building the foundations for long-term success. You’ll take a broader, more strategic view of the territory — analysing potential, engaging key prospects, and helping shape how we expand our presence in targeted areas.

The Role
As a Business Development Consultant, you’ll focus on:
* Identifying high-opportunity customer, and growth areas
* Researching and targeting new business opportunities
* Building early-stage relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
* Opening new accounts and creating a strong pipeline of future business
* Working closely with Field Sales Consultants to develop the territory.
* Supporting territory planning and helping define go-to-market strategies
* Representing the business professionally and confidently when engaging new prospects
* Providing excellent service, including after-sale follow-up, to ensure customer satisfaction.
This is a role for someone who enjoys creating momentum, not just maintaining existing business.
What We’re Looking For
* A proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong commercial mindset
* Experience in business development, territory expansion, or new-market growth
* Confidence engaging new prospects and opening conversations at all levels
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills
* The ability to identify opportunity and convert interest into tangible results
* Comfortable working independently while collaborating with wider sales teams
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise opportunities
* B2B sales environment
* Competent with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
* Full, clean UK driving licence

* £24,000 basic salary with minimum guaranteed earnings of £27,300 per annum with OTE of approx £35,000
