Job Title: Material Handling Operator (Stores Operative)
Location: Handforth Dean, Cheshire East
Contract Details: Temporary 12 months
Salary: Pay 14.87ph
OT: Not available often, but if undertaken paid at 150%
Shifts: Between 7am to 5.30pm standard hours. 8 hours per day, precise times to be confirmed in line with rest of the team

Responsibilities:
As a Material Handling Operator, you will:
Efficiently manage stock movements within the warehouse
Load and unload goods with care and precision
Maintain accurate inventory records
Ensure the workspace is clean and organised
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred)
Basic computer skills for inventory management
SAP experience or equivalent WMS/IMS
A proactive and positive attitude
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
While not essential, the following will give you an edge:
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of health and safety regulations specific to warehousing
Familiarity with stock management systems
Team leadership experience
