Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mobile Plant Fitter located in Burntwood. The Mobile Plant Fitter will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of plant machinery and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical and technical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, ensuring equipment is safe and operational, and responding to breakdowns efficiently. The role requires ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety.
Qualifications
* Strong mechanical and technical skills, including expertise in diagnosing and repairing plant machinery
* Proficiency in preventative maintenance and understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
* Good organizational skills and ability to manage workload independently
* Experience in on-site and field-based work with a commitment to safety protocols
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively
* Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field are advantageous
* A valid driver’s license is required
