The Role:
We’re looking for a reliable Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver to join our team at Goole.
You’ll be out on the road most days, delivering plumbing and heating products to trade customers using a company van. When you're not on the road, you’ll help in the warehouse with goods-in, order picking, and keeping things running smoothly.
You don’t need experience in plumbing or heating - just a full UK driving licence and a solid, team-first attitude.
What You’ll Be Doing
Driving & Deliveries (Main Focus):
- Delivering orders to local customers in a company van
- Providing friendly, on-time service
- Loading/unloading the van and checking items before delivery
- Daily vehicle checks and safe driving at all times
Warehouse Support:
- Receiving stock and checking deliveries
- Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
- Lifting and moving stock (some heavy items)
- Operating warehouse equipment (including forklifts)
- Keeping the warehouse tidy and organised
What We’re Looking For:
- A full UK driving licence
- Commercial Delivery experience
- Preferably Warehouse experience
- Good customer service and communication
- Physically fit and confident with manual handling
- Team player with a positive work ethic
- Good timekeeping and attention to detail
