Were looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Team Leader to support our Bedford operation. This is a hands-on role where youll help drive performance across the warehouse, maintain 5S and Opertune standards, support quality checks, and coach team members to achieve their best. Acting as a key link between the team and management, youll step up in the Supervisors absence and ensure targets for volume, quality and efficiency are consistently met, helping Whistl deliver the highest quality and most cost-effective service for our customers.

What Youll Be Doing
People & Resource Management
* Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
* Support the coordination of shift activities, helping to prioritise and delegate tasks effectively.
* Monitor attendance, conduct, and performance in line with company policies.
* Train and coach team members from induction onwards to support their development.
* Assist in the creation of team performance reports (KPIs, absence, skills, H&S, etc.).
* Step up to run the shift in the Supervisors absence.
Communication
* Support daily team briefs and debriefs to ensure clarity of goals and expectations.
* Help build a strong team culture through effective collaboration and information sharing.
