M&E Quantity Surveyor – Cardiff (£55,000–£70,000)
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team and support the delivery of mechanical and electrical packages across a range of Cardiff projects. This role is ideal for someone confident in cost management who’s ready to take ownership of key commercial duties and progress within a high‑performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Cost reporting – Prepare detailed cost plans, forecasts, and financial updates.
* Measurement & BOQs – Produce accurate quantities and tender documentation.
* Procurement – Assess subcontractor quotations and lead tender analyses.
* Valuations & variations – Manage monthly valuations, change control, and variation assessments.
* Contract administration – Oversee NEC/JCT documentation and ensure commercial compliance.
* Stakeholder coordination – Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to support smooth project delivery.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with M&E exposure.
* Strong understanding of building services and commercial processes.
* Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
* Proactive, organised, and confident managing commercial responsibilities.
