Role Summary
As an Escape Room Host at Donnington Manor Hotel, you will be the face of our immersive escape room experience You'll welcome guests, introduce them to the game, monitor their progress, and ensure everyone has a fun, safe, and memorable time. Your role is crucial in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining the high standards of our escape room attractions.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet and Brief Guests: Welcome participants, explain the rules, theme, and story of the escape room, and answer any questions before the game begins.
* Game Operation: Monitor games via CCTV, provide hints or clues when necessary, and ensure the experience runs smoothly and safely.
* Reset & Maintain Rooms: Quickly and accurately reset rooms between groups, inspect for damages or missing items, and report any issues to management.
* Customer Service: Create a welcoming atmosphere, handle bookings and payments, and address guest feedback or concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
* Health & Safety: Ensure all safety protocols are followed and respond appropriately to emergencies.
* Teamwork: Collaborate with hotel staff and management to deliver a seamless guest experience.
* Promotion & Feedback: Encourage guests to leave reviews, take photos, and share their experience on social media.
Skills & Qualifications
* Excellent Communication: Confident speaking to groups and giving clear instructions.
* Customer Service Focus: Friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive to guests' needs.
* Attention to Detail: Able to spot and correct errors in room setup and puzzle function.
* Problem-Solving: Able to think on your feet and assist guests in a way that enhances their experience.
* Organisation: Able to manage bookings, timings, and room resets efficiently.
* Flexibility: Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
* Experience: Previous hospitality, entertainment, or customer service experience is an advantage but not required. Full training will be provided.
