Virtual removals surveyor

We are hiring a Virtual Removals Surveyor for a top international moving and removals business that serves the UK, Europe, and other nations worldwide. An experienced removals specialist with proficiency in creating precise quotes, conducting virtual surveys, and assisting clients moving abroad would be well-suited for this remote position. In addition to speaking English fluently, candidates must be proficient in French, German, or Dutch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual household goods (HHG) surveys for clients moving both domestically and abroad using video removal surveying tools.
• Get precise removals estimates, evaluate shipment amounts, access circumstances, specific handling demands, and packing requirements.
• Create thorough quotes and cost estimates for removals projects in Europe and abroad.
• Give clients advice on customs requirements, moving procedures, transit timeframes, and destination-specific factors.
• Determine any operating difficulties and offer workable alternative solutions.
• Communicate with worldwide partner networks, operations, and move management to guarantee precise service delivery.
• Keep up-to-date customer data and survey records in CRM and estimating systems.
• Examine inventory information and make sure that the survey accurately records all removals requirements.
• Convert survey opportunities into confirmed reservations to assist with business development initiatives.
• Follow up with and stay in touch with potential clients on a frequent basis.
• Make sure that the company's policies, industry norms, and international shipping regulations are followed.
• Increase customer satisfaction and conversion rates, and provide excellent customer service throughout the sales and survey process.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Relevant work experience in the moving, relocation and removals sector as an estimator, virtual surveyor, move consultant, removals surveyor, or in a similar capacity.
• A track record of successfully managing household goods removals throughout Europe and beyond.
• Professional-level proficiency in written and spoken Dutch, French, or German in addition to English.
• Strong familiarity with international shipping techniques, export packing specifications, customs processes, and foreign moving procedures.
• Familiarity with video surveying tools and removals CRM systems.
• Strong interpersonal, sales, customer service, and communication skills with the capacity to turn enquiries into reservations.
