Accounts Payable - Temp - Llanelli
Hays Non-qualified finance are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Officer to support a busy finance team during a period of operational change. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation in South Wales and strengthen your skills in a fast-paced finance environment.The role will involve supporting the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong financial control. You will work closely with the wider finance team and provide essential transactional support across the department.Key Responsibilities:
* Review, verify, and process invoices accurately.
* Maintain supplier ledgers and complete supplier statement reconciliations
* Conduct timely weekly payment runs
* Manage the Accounts Payable inbox and resolve supplier queries promptly.
* Input invoices and supplier details accurately into the financial system
* Support audits, reporting, and process improvements
* Collaborate with the management accounts team to ensure correct cost allocations
