SEN Teacher Opportunity - Morden Are you a qualified SEN Teacher ready to make a meaningful difference in Morden? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive specialist education setting, helping children and young people with special educational needs access learning in a way that works for them. This SEN Teacher role in Morden is ideal for someone with QTS and experience teaching SEN learners. About the Role As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that are tailored to individual needs and abilities. You will be supported by teaching assistants, SENCOs, therapists and wider school staff, working together to provide consistent, personalised support for every learner. Key Responsibilities As an SEN Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver creative, accessible lessons for pupils with special educational needs. Support children and young people across primary, secondary or post-16 pathways. Use EHCPs and individual learning targets to guide teaching and measure progress. Work with pupils who may have ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, speech and language needs or complex learning needs. Create a positive classroom culture built on routine, trust and encouragement. Work closely with teaching assistants to ensure learning is consistent and purposeful. Adapt resources and teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities. Support pupils' emotional regulation, confidence, independence and social development. What We're Looking For We are looking for an SEN Teacher who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status, QTS. Has experience teaching children or young people with special educational needs. Has primary, secondary or post-16 teaching experience. Can adapt lessons to meet a wide range of abilities and learning needs. Has strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach. Is confident working collaboratively with support staff and external professionals. Is compassionate, resilient and committed to helping every pupil make progress.
