In this fast-paced project management environment, youll manage competing priorities and tight deadlines while working closely with senior officers, elected members, and colleagues across partner organisations. Youll play a key role in fostering strong, collaborative relationshipssupporting and challenging teams to meet agreed delivery targets.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include drafting strategies, plans, and project documentation, as well as leading the onboarding and implementation of innovative digital toolsincluding AI, automation, and GIS mappingto streamline and accelerate the Local Plan process in line with government timelines.
As the central point of contact for all digital workstreams, youll provide training, technical support, and coordination across the four partner authorities to embed new digital ways of working. While an interest and aptitude for digital tools is essential, full training on specialist software will be provided.
The Greater Norwich Project Team works alongside Norfolk County Councils Infrastructure and Development team and supports the work of the Greater Norwich Development Partnership (GNDP), a partnership between Broadland District Council, Norwich City Council, South Norfolk Council, and Norfolk County Council.
We offer flexible hybrid working arrangements, but the team are required to meet in person multiple times a week across the partnership authority offices.
Qualifications
While an interest and aptitude for digital tools is essential, full training on specialist software will be provided.
